Command upgrade

Does anybody know if it is possible to upgrade my existing GPS/Media system to the Command system. I have been told by our local Mercedes dealer that it is not but they might not be aware of the technical requirements.

Don’t bother-it’s really not worth it

I'm just curious as I prefer the more detailed maps and media storage on the command , but not desperate to change.

I’ve experience of both systems and COMAND really isn’t worth the bother.I use my phone/iPad for navigation as I find it much better and as for the media storage-every CD I’ve tried to store on the hard drive it will not do because of copywrite.

As above. Have the Comand, rarely ever use it. A phone is 10x better at just about everything.
