Bed & blinds

Hi all.
Had my MP for a week now and loving driving it (locally of course) but haven't had the chance to sleep in it yet.
There are just 2 of us.
A couple of questions:
Can we use the mattress from the roof as a topper downstairs?
Which thermal blinds would people recommend?

Hi Gek. I am sure you will love it even more when you get out on the open road and away for a stay. We slept up top when we had a dog, but unfortunately age caught up with him last July. We only had a few nights away last autumn, but slept downstairs for the first time using the mattress and found it fits and is very comfortable, with the added advantage of having a natural place to store it!

Can't help with the blinds as we have just made do with the MB curtain so far. We might reconsider this though as, even with the windows open a touch, there was more condensation sleeping downstairs which we had not had a problem with when up top as there is more ventilation.

And sorry to hear of your dog's passing. I think ours is eyeing up sleeping on the downstairs bed with us.. unfortunately, he is a retriever !
Maybe a tad "snug"
