How was it in the snow ?

To be honest it did not have much snow to cope with, although there was about 10 inch of lying snow the gritters had done a great job to keep the main roads in the area clear. With the tyres fitted (Continental sports contact) I would not expect it to be that great in the snow and on the few areas where the roads had not been cleared I did feel the rear end sliding out here and there although it was fairly easy to correct at low speeds. I will probably replace these tyres with a suitable four season tyre when they come to the end of their life.

I’m right in thinking it’s rear wheel drive aren’t I? Whereas the California is front wheel drive (or haldex 4wd if selected.)

Yes, it is RWD.
