Question. Has anybody considered or actually fitted a MAXXAir fan in the front section of the pop top. Seems to be room. ?

no clue but , it will create drag costing more fuel. secondly theres the safety hinged pin in front keeping the roof down when driving. the roof is however strengthend at the top of the front seats .... its prepared for a sunroof i think. D GL

Thanks. Good points. I’ve seen several MP’s with sunroof, there’s a recess indicating that sort of shape and apparently available to be fitted as factory option on the continent. We also have a ventilation mode on our recently fitted AutoTerm heater, so that might be useful. I see the MaxxAir is only 4 KG… I’ll do a bit of digging at the NEC show…
 
The additional weight may have a detrimental effect on the actuators that raise the roof (work them harder) and if the leisure battery is weak it may not be up to the task !

Yeah I thought that too although I’ve seen roof ski boxes and bigger stuff mounted on roof rails to take such stuff, looks like 50KG on roof is OK .
