Leisure battery

Hello

Our leisure battery does not charge as we drive. Should the trip switch to the right of the sink be in the up or down position when we drive?

Pretty sure that the switch you describe is the rcd for the electric hook up. Don’t think this has anything to do with the leisure battery.
However the rcd can be left in the on position permanently.
To check if it’s on connect the van to an electric hook up and try using an appliance such as a kettle. If it works then the switch is in the correct position.

Hello and Welcome - the charging should be automatic. Is it the display that is not showing charging whilst driving or a flat battery that won't charge? Hooking up should also show it charging

We took our van back to the dealer who originally said there is nothing wrong with the battery. (They said our expectations for the battery to last a night without a hookup were too high!)
We had to persist with our claim and they have provided us with a courtesy car while they investigate. They called today to tell us that they have found a fault with the relay that they are going to replace. Fingers crossed!
