Importing a Marco Polo From Germany to UK

Mods, Sorry if this is in the wrong place !
Has anyone imported a Marco Polo (or any vehicle) from Germany?
I've read several guides on the net and the one linked below seems over simplified - I just wondered if anyone had and experience in doing this?
