Only 6.5V registered in display panel

Got a problem with my MP. The display panel went blank and won't switch on, so nothing can be done, ie can't raise roof, switch on fridge etc. Took it into my local MB dealer. They had a look and somehow managed to make the panel come on. But it only registers 6.5V. They don't know why so I have to book it in for them to check it out. They admit they haven't got a lot of experience with the MP. Anyone has the same problem?
Btw I did charge the battery last night and it did show 14V. Also can someone advise, when I try to pull out the plug after charging the battery I find it extremely hard to pull the plug out, so much force have to be used that it feels like I will break something. Have I got to press a lever to release the plug?

It sounds like your leisure battery is faulty. Or the charger or it’s connections... I would mention this to MB since it sounds like the plug or socket isn’t correct. Best take your cable with you so they can check both the plug and the socket out.

When they did my roof they said they have changed the leisure battery so it shouldn't be that. They said they will have to check it out to see what's wrong. I have got it booked in two weeks time.

I've always found it hard to pull the plug out too from the external socket. There is a blue lever but when I press it it doesn't do anything. Assumed that this was normal but maybe not so keen to hear if yours gets resolved

That's exactly my problem. Pressing the blue lever doesn't do anything. I have to pull really hard to extract the plug. Is that normal? Can anyone advise?

You need to gently push the red plastic lever down then it will unclip.

I have had my MP for over 2 years now , when not in use need to put on hook up every 4-6 weeks to keep leisure battery topped up.
Prior to this we had a VW for 8 years and had dto do the same with that

Thanks for all the tips.
Carol, there is no red plastic lever. However there is a blue one.
Charles, the WD40 trick worked !! Push on the blue lever to release the lock on the cap of the plug and it comes out easy now.
Thanks everyone :D:D:D:D:D

What’s the voltage after 4 weeks unplugged? Mine drops to 12.4v two weeks after a full charge with everything switched off, so I plug in every two weeks , wonder if it’s the case for everyone. My battery is almost new.

Mine has dropped to 12.4 since we camped on drive 2 weeks ago in support of NHS

At least it’s consistent:)
That pretty much means to plug in every two weeks for a better battery life. (12.4 is about 50% of discharge)
